Janice is feeling exceptionally tired after her mission trip to Batam! Even after sleeping for long hours, she still feels tired. Haha, think God used her too mightily liao!!! hahaha. okay, please pray for her that she will regain her strength once again =)

Also, Felily and I are having our exams this period. please keep us in prayer!! MANY THANKS!!!

ENOCH's Bash by the Seaside!!

Please pray for a sunny but breezy weather! So we wun be drenched in the rain and we wun be perspiring like crazy!

The programme is as follows:
830am: Meet in church (punctually)/ Move out to East Coast Park(ECP) after mustering full strength/accounting strength
9am: Reach ECP, start sandcastle-building competition (2 teams)
11am: End of Competition/ Judging by the 2 event organisers (Siew Ho and Jerome)/ Buffer time?
11.15am: Announcement of Winner/ Move out for lunch
1pm: Return to church for movie time (Bath, anyone? If yes, must bring clothes and toiletries and reach church earlier :D)
3pm: End of first movie
3-3.30pm: Play some truth or dare!!! Or any other good group game suggestions?
3.30-5.30pm: Next Movie??
5.30pm: Dinner and bye-byez :P

Plz take note of the following additional info:
1. Bring a min of $15
2. Attire is Beach Wear
3. Bring a set of change
4. Umbrella OR Raincoat (If God does bring the rain for His higher purposes :D)
5. 500ml bottle of water (minimum!)
6. Socks (For cheaper bowling costs in case we can't do sandcastles)
7. Shades (For camwhoring and practical purposes - ok, it's OPTIONAL :P)

PLEASE EAT YOUR BREAKFAST BEFORE COMING. :) or else bring morning snacks!

In addition, I want to THANK EVERYONE for participating in the activity last saturday. YAY!

I'm very happy because I know the bookmark that you hold is God planned. You are holding the bookmark of this person for a particular purpose/reason and it is no accident that you are being paired with him or her. Seek the LORD if you are not sure what it is that you can pray for this particular person. So Continue to keep each other in prayer, especially those holding on to a Pri 6 bookmark. Pray for smooth transition and feeling of comfortability in ypm. You were once in their position, so pray about the fears, insecurity and uncertainity that everyone will face in such a change. And I'm sure you have prayed something for your partner.

Don't worry if you only prayed once for the other person, becoz it is not the size of your prayer but the condition of your heart that really matters when we pray. However, I'm not advocating that we just pray once for every single thing. DO what the spirit promtps! IF the spirit prompts you to carry on praying for a particular person or event, respond with obedience and faith. Take care God bless and I love you! But our Aba Father loves us even MORE! hehe. We love becoz he first love us, so Go forth and spread the love lovely ladies and charming gentlemen!

First, thanks Rachel for sharing! :)

God loves it when we begin to praise His name, and to worship Him because we were made to worship Him. Everything is made through Him, by Him and for Him, AMEN!

So lets all praise His holy name, all times. In times of adversity, in times of joy and in times of woe. Because God is always good.

I was just doing my quiet time just now, and my heart was really burdened for the cell group. So I prayed really hard for every burden that was in my heart and every thing that was making me worried and anxious. For a moment, I just didn't say anything to God. I was siting there listening to the music playing. And I was hearing, 'As the deer, pants for the water so my soul thirsts after thee. You alone are my heart's desire, and I long to worship you.'

I felt the Holy Spirit prompt in my heart to sing the song out loud. So I began to sing. And as I sang along, I realised how the Lord was using this song to lift away all my burdens. And I felt better just after that. That there is really nothing on earth that I desire after, apart from God. And all I really want and ever need is God -my Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. That's really all I really want. And nothing else on this earth was ever going to satisfy it. Except, having God Himself.

GOD ALONE -He is our strength and our shield.

To all the leaders out there mentoring and leading people:
Who are you anxious and worried about?
What is it that you are burdened about?
What is it that you are upset and has lost strength over?
What is laying you down, pulling you and stopping you from moving forward?
Work?
Family?
Relationships?
A certain someone?
Your mentees?
Church?

Leave it to the Lord. Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you. Don't worry and don't be anxious over anything. Lift it up to God, and turn your eyes to Jesus. Remember, that you were made to worship Him. Is your life right now, every second, a worship to the Lord?

I think as leaders, we sometimes give more than we can afford to. In fact, we give more than we should. And today as I was praying, I realised that the Lord is calling us back. Back to the heart of worship. Its not about the sheep, its not about the cell group, its not about the parties, outings, events and what nots. ITS ABOUT GOD.

Drop everything you hold dear in your heart guys, and love the Lord.

Let us come back to the heart of worship. We need to love God and worship Him with every bit of our hearts. It is Him first and Him only.

I may not know what worries you hold in your heart, or what burdens you have. But God does, and He is ready to heal. Indeed, a broken and a contrite spirit the Lord He does not despise. Therefore, I urge you, to cast your cares upon the Lord. Everything to Him. Give everything to Him.

Get down on our knees, and let us pray and worship Him. Let us focus on loving the Lord, shall we?

it's actuallly one of the chapter i wanna share. and its called Praise You at ALL times,
i ll just share some parts k? kay.

When i lived in California, i worked as a singer and dancer on television. I would have to sing a song over and over all day long while i was rehearsing it with the choreography. I used to go home at night and i could hardly sleep because the music and lyrics of the songs we had been working on would still be playing over and over in my mind. I could not get them out of my head.

This is what happens to us when we hear and sing praise and worship songs over and over again. They continue to play in our mind, soul and spirit, even when we are not actually worshipping God. Even when we are sleeping.

When i praise and worshipped God, it was like being hooked up to a spiritual IV. As long i had my heart and eyes lifted to Him in worship and praise, the joy of the Lord poured into my mind, soul, and spirit and crowded out the darkness and depression. It worked every time.

I started buying praise and worship songs to playing in the car as i drove., in my bedroom before i went to bed, in the bathroom when i was getting ready to go some place, in the kitchen as i was cooking something to eat, throughout the house where i was living, and if possible, in the place where i was working. Sometimes i would sing along with them, but other times i would just let the music play through my mind and spirit. It amazed me that confusion, oppression, fear, or anxiety couldn't exist in the same room where praise music was being played or sung. Eventually, i got completely free from all of those negative emotions, but i still played worship music whenever i wanted to have peace and a greater sense of God's presence.

I learnt that anytime i start feeling bad or sad or mad, if i praise God for who He is and all He has done, those feelings will GO AWAY.

Nothing we do is more powerful or more life changing. It is one of the ways God transforms us and our circumstances.

Every time we praise and worship God His presence comes to be with us and changes our attitude. It allows the Holy spirit to soften and mould our hearts into whatever way He wants it to be.






and PRAISE CAN LIFT YOU HIGHER

There is a way for you to be lifted up so YOU can soar too. And that is through praise and worship.



And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us. -Romans 5:2-5

Hello everybody!

Its a new week now and I'm so glad I'm recovering well. :) God is indeed good.

Announcements for the week ahead:

1. Book of colossians will be postponed one week back.
   Because Janice and Jackson can't make it this Saturday.
   So we will have our lesson on the Sat 28 Nov, as well as Sat 5 Dec.
   So consecutively 2 weeks ya!
   
   
2. Book of Matthew news will be provided by Jerome.
   Hahahahahaha. Sorry i don't sit with you guys during sessions, so I don't know pretty much whats going on.
   But I trust that Jerome is being a great steward. Amen?
   
   
3. Service this week :)
   Lets continue to be friendly to the P6s! :)
   As we realised, they would all be leaving after YPM so none of them would be joining us for dinner. =(
   But we will have our own good fun of fellowshipping okay!
   (Da bao back to YPM office, or just eat out. :))
   
   
4. Lets encourage people to go for the outing on the 27th Friday :)
   And build some sandcastles!!!
   

I want to thank every single one of you who turned up for cell group this Saturday! You are a great encouragement to me and to the rest. I could tell that the P6s were not being out-casted! Yay! I think they all felt welcomed by your warmth and smiles and initiativessssss...

So keep up the good work!

God is indeed moving among us, with His divine provision. Not just His presence , but also His love and kindness in every single one of your guys.
I am very touched :)

Hi Enochians!

Ypms' Spiritual Milk Camp for the Pri 6 will starts this saturday for the subsequent 4 weeks!!! The exact dates are 7, 14, 21, 28 of November 2009.
Please continue to pray for this camp in various areas:

• Since the main objective for this camp is to provide an avenue for the pri 6 to get a smooth transition from CM to ypm, it would be wise to pray that God's hand will be upon this camp so that it will be successful and what we set out to do shall be accomplished.

As written in Prov 16:9 To his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps. And in Prov 19:21 Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.

• For both Enoch and Levi: To be good soil for the growth and development of the new pri 6s that will be joining us(them). It is our privilege to be able to be able to be the first people they are going to be interacting with. So remember to pray for yourself too k on top of everything! =)

With reference to various verses regarding good soil producing a harvest of good crops, we understand that it is impossible for us to keep the pri 6 in ypm if we ourselves are not of "good soil". This is because the conditions and environment for growth and development are not met. So even if we have top quality "seeds", they will not thrive under harsh conditions. (Exekiel 17:8, Matthew 13:8, Mark 4:8, Luke 8:15)

• Fruitful sessions of Teachings and Receiving. Pray for the anoiting of teachers and recepient hearts.
• Meaningful Interactions
• Exciting cum engaging games and protection/safety.
• Time management for this camp becoz the scheduling is very tight and so pray for smooth run of every programme.
• Pray for the committee-in-charge
• YOURSELF! =)))) being part of a family In Christ, you are extremely important becoz you have important roles and talents to contribute!
