Do come prepared because I'm going to facilitate the sharing, but I'm not going to be teaching like I did the last time round! 1. What does Paul ask God to do for the Colossians?
2. For whom will you pray this prayer?
3. What do you think is the difference in the meaning of the following terms pertaining to God's will?
a. Knowledge of God's will
b. Understanding of God's will
c. Wisdom of God's will
4. From Proverbs 1:7, 2:5 and 9:10, exactly where does God declare that all knowledge and wisdom begin?
5. From Proverbs 2:1-6, name some practical things a Christian must do in order to be filled constantly with the knowledge of God's will.
6. Are the wisdom and understanding of which Paul speaks, merely the wisdom of this world and one's own understanding? Give a reason from this passage to justify your answer.
7. According to Proverbs 3:5-6, what must you do to be sure that your understanding of a situation and decision are from God and not mere human reasoning?
